GRANDMA'S VISIT

Hey Everyone!

As most of you can see Jason's mom and younger brother came to visit us this past weekend, they went home this afternoon. The kids love it when Grandma comes to visit or when we go to visit Grandma! She is so good with the kids! We wished she lived closer but we enjoy the visits that we have with each other. We went to dinner last night and then we came home and went swimming at my mom's house. We are planning on going to see her for a little vacation next month so the kids are excited about that! Jason's other younger brother and his wife are expecting their first baby and are having a baby shower so we are going to go visit them and his mom next month. Sorry it has taken me so long to update our blog, it seems that with 4 kids (counting Jason!) it can get a little hectic! Hopefully I can better update the blog but don't be too disappointed. We hope everyone is happy, healthy, and safe! We love and miss all of you! Here are some pics of Grandma and the kids, and then some pics of Jason, his mom, and his younger brother.

SWIMMING AT GRANDMA'S!

Hey Everyone!

We went swimming down at my mom's house last night and the kids had a blast! When we were done swimming close to 9:30 it was 99 degrees outside. The kids love to swim and what made it even better was Jason's mom and younger brother were able to visit us for a day and a half! We had a great time visiting with them. The water temperature was wonderful, going swimming when the sun goes down is the best time to go. Here are a few pictures of the kids and Jason swimming. Olivia likes to be held, and Ethan and Alexia love to play in the kiddie pool. I was also in the water but I am the one behind the camera, which to me is always a good thing! We hope you all enjoy our pics and blog, we love hearing from everyone!

AWESOME!

I was sitting at home yesterday just relaxing when Jason came home from being in Vegas all day working, he surprised me with a hands free mixer! I have wanted one of those ever since we got married and he totally suprised me with one! He earns points at work that allow him to get things, he got a nice air compressor not too long ago. When he told me he was getting a cement mixer I thought okay what in the world are you going to do with one of those! Obviously that was a cover up of what he was really getting. He is so awesome! We are trying to plan what we are going to do for Ethan's birthday, it's coming up pretty soon. I wished that I could find some Alvin and the Chipmunk party supplies, but I have searched and searched to no luck. He absolutely LOVES that movie! He knows all of the songs and dance moves in the movie. He used to watch it when he first woke up in the mornings up until bedtime at night, but I had to limit him to watching it once or twice. He was learning some bad habits, such as throwing things! Well we hope that everyone is doing great and we love hearing from you!

OUR FUN LITTLE WEEKEND

We had a fun little weekend. We had this inflatable pool that we had never used, when we took it out of the box we didnt realize how big it actually was so Jason blew it up and it had a little built in slide. Alexia and Ethan had a blast swimming, I would have taken some pictures but by the time I went back outside, Ethan not so gracefully toppled onto the sand and was covered with dirt! It was quite humorous! So therefore I was unable to get any pictures! Father's Day was great, Jason got a shirt, shorts, hair gel, and a movie. I made him whatever he wanted for dinner and dessert. After dinner we all watched a movie together. We went to church that morning, all of the dads received a loaf of bread, which was nice. Ethan gave Jason a sqeezeit and some hersherys hugs and kisses. Alexia colored him a picture, and Olivia well she didnt do so good at church, kind of like every Sunday! I am thinking I am going to go private on our blog, I guess I have heard too many stories to freak me out so starting on Monday our blog will be private along with the comments page. If you want to keep updated on our blog please let me know in an email so I can add your email address to my viewing list. We hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend, I know that we did!

DID SOMEBODY SAY YARDWORK?

This past weekend the kids and I went to Utah to with my mom to see Tyson receive the priesthood. We were able to see Aaron's kids and Tricia's kids as well. We had lots of fun but we missed being home. Well while we were gone Jason decided to do some yardwork. Most people think of yardwork as mowing the lawn or weeding their flowers, but seeing that we dont have those things quite yet, but we do have three trees, this is how we do yardwork! Jason drives the big machinery from work over and instead of using a shovel for hours we use a loader! When the kids and I got home on Sunday I was so impressed to see how much he had done! He even cleaned up the house to surprise me! I am so thankful that he is such a wonderful husband and father to our children, he is truly amazing! I am so blessed to have him in my life he is my best friend! We are planning on pouring some concrete and planting grass hopefully in the near future. In these pics, you might see our dog Rosie, she is quite the character, she thinks she is still a puppy! Alexia got some chickens the last time we went to Utah and she loves them. They are starting to get cuter, but for a while they were going through the ugly stage like all animals do! Her cousin Teancum wants to give her a few more, but first we need to get a bigger pen, which is Jason's next project. We hope that all of you are enjoying our blog, we love and miss those of you who live so far away, keep us posted on everything and we will try and do the same!

A DAY AT THE PARK

Hey Everyone!

We went to Grandpa's park last Thursday and let the kids play. Jason, Olivia and I sat on a blanket under a shaded tree and enjoyed the nice evening weather. The kids love to go play there and it is a really nice park. The park was the kids' Uncle Alma's eagle project, it was then dedicated to my dad. We don't have any grass yet, but we do have alot of dirt! The kids like to play outside and jump on the underground trampoline that they just walk onto. We got some pictures of the kids while they were playing. Alexia loves the slide, and Ethan won't go down the slide he would much rather just throw rocks and dirt! Typical boy I am told! Olivia is a big cheeser! She is starting to talk and it is so cute to listen to her! She says bye-bye, night-night, hello, bless you, ready set go, uh-oh, and many more!

ALEXIA'S LAST DAY OF PRESCHOOL

Alexia's last day of school was on June 4. She was a peer model student for the autistic children ranging in ages 3-5. She loved her teacher Mrs. Postma, she taught her so much and helped her blossom! Jason would go pick her up every day and bring her home and eat lunch with all of us, and then go back to work. Next year she will be going to school all day where this year she only went half day. I cried when she went into the playground on her first day and she was only gone for three hours! So you can probably imagine that I am going to sob next year when she goes all day! She is so excited to start kindergarten next year. When I went to pick her up on her last day of school she said, "Mommy I'm in kindergarten now!" I hope that she will keep the same enthusiasm about school throughout her life.

ALEXIA'S WATER DAY

Alexia had her water day on June 3. All of the Preschool or Early Childhood classes enjoyed a day filled with water, food, bounce houses, and lots of fun! The parents and their children were invited as well. I brought along Ethan and Olivia, we all had a blast! Here are some pictures of Alexia and Ethan enjoying the water. It was held at the water park at the community center and all of the kids walked over from the school. Olivia sat in the stroller most of the time under a shade tree to keep out of the HOT sun!
