Hey Everyone
We are currently in the process of potty training Ethan. Wow it has been quite the week of doing that! I have never potty trained a boy before so this is kinda new for me. The first time Ethan sat on the toilet he looks up at me after about 5 minutes and says, "Mommy it's broken it doesnt work!" I just couldnt stop laughing! I had to have Jason help me with him sitting on the toilet to go to the bathroom because when he did go it shot all over the floor as he was sitting there and Ethan refuses to stand at this point so we are slowly managing! If any of you have any good tips on potty training a boy please let me know. I have tried the outside thing and he wont stand outside to go to the bathroom and I have tried the cheerios in the toilet to no avail. I guess I will keep trucking along with what I am doing, he gets a little piece of candy if he goes in the potty, and that right now seems to be doing the trick. Ethan is a little stubborn and he likes to do things himself, so he will run into the bathroom and do it all by himself, the only problem is he doesnt quite make it to the potty before he goes in his undies! He is slowly getting better and I am hoping that he will catch on a little bit better this coming up week! We hope that all of you had a great weekend. The pomegranate festival wasnt as successful as I thought it would be, but it was a new experience for me and that is all that matters I guess!

It may be a blessing in disguise that Ethan won't pee outside. My boys have been known to drop their pants at BBQ, carnivals, parades, etc. They are not shy :)!
